We have an opportunity for a talented Senior ASP.Net Software Developer to join our dedicated team in Auckland, Takapuna. This is permanent role. You’ll be part of a tight-knit tech team where you will be involved in contributing to all aspects of development of our current product offering.

To apply for this role you will need to have proven knowledge and experience in following areas:

    • Microsoft ASP.NET web application development
    • Web application development (HTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery)
    • Database development, SQL Server
    • Service orientated architecture and development patterns
    You’ll score big bonus points if you can evidence some of the following:
    • iOS or Android mobile software development experience
    • C++ or C development skills
    Must haves:
    • Deep skills in OO Development
    • Excellent communication skills
    • A strong professional work history
    • Passion for learning and moving with new technology
    • Flexible communication both technical and basic terms
    • Dedication to perform the tasks given

HR Assistant (Co-op assistant)

    • HR Major
    • Outstanding written and oral English (written and verbal communication are a key part of the role)
    • Excellent computer skills (e.g. MS Office)
    • A business head and an enthusiastic attitude.

The right person would acquire excellent international HR experience and may be offered an opportunity of employment following the Co-Op placement.

Main Duties

Helping to standardize the HR process, resources and supporting documentation

    • Maintaining all human resource files and documents by recording new hires, terminations, changes in job descriptions and KPIs, merit increases; tracking vacation, sick, and personal time
    • Employee relations: Be a point of contact for all HR-related queries and issues
    • Assisting with the annual review process (scheduling, PA to manager and documenting)
    • Managing regular celebrations such as staff birthday morning teas, monthly BBQ and ad hoc team building and social events
    • Completing monthly Health and Safety checks
    • Reviewing training courses on request and booking staff onto courses
    • Management of employee resource (car park assignment, what else?)
    • Other ad hoc office management related projects when we are not hiring
    • Co-ordinate outside service providers (e.g. 360 reviews, trainers etc)
    • Cover for sales coordinator when on holiday

As required (when we are hiring – we are planning to hire another 8 staff this financial year):

Drafting job descriptions: working with the manager to outline all skills and qualities required and desired in a successful job applicant

    • Resume screening: screening resumes against manager defined checklists
    • Drafting and posting agreed job advertisements
    • Liaising with recruitment agencies as required
    • Set up interviews and issue relevant correspondence
    • Performing background checks: conducting background screenings and reference checks for all prospective hires, accurately documenting these activities.
    • Administering HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment
    • Orienting new employees by providing policy documents and gathering payroll information.
