Snap – Internal Communications Solutions.
Hot Tips for Internal Communicators
Before you email, ask yourself ‘Is email the best way to
communicate this message?’
I wish my manager would stop loading me up with more work via email.
Many staff comment that they do not like receiving additional work via email.  They would far rather be
asked personally.
Email is used at times to convey sensitive or even unpleasant messages, but this is simply not good
practice.  If you find that your staff are receiving more and more internal email, it is probably a good
time to examine and promote alternative ways of conveying the message.
Why not use a staff meeting to think about all the different communications channels?  You can involve
staff by asking them to discuss the benefits and drawbacks of each option.
