About SnapCommsOnce upon a time... (in 2002) a frustrated intranet manager decided to find a better way to communicate with employees…and Snap tools were born. We have Vodafone New Zealand to thank for our early product evolution. Their feedback and innovative ideas helped us grow and evolve SnapComms tools. SnapComms is a privately owned business and is growing organically. We have avoided seeking investment funding as we believe it can cause an organization to lose what makes it great. Our focus is squarely on delivering great customer service, building our in-house internal communications expertise and continuing to innovate and grow our suite of internal communications tools. Real Solutions for Real Internal Communications Problems. Innovation is tempered with a pragmatic approach to development. If a new idea or technology solves an internal communication problem, we’ll add it to our suite if we can. We take a dim view of cool groovy technology for the sake of it! Hence our strap line ‘ Real Solutions for Real Internal Communications Problems’ We have one of the most talented (and largest) product development teams in the world – our customers. Every time a customer or prospect faces an internal communications challenge and says “it would be really great if…” we evolve our solution. Keeping it real. We believe in close relationships with our customers and word of mouth marketing. Many of our clients have been referred to us in some way. Thankfully the power of tools like web-conferencing and committed staff who are willing to stay up late on conference calls help us stay connected to our clients no matter the time zone. We also work with talented resellers and partners across the world. Our partners are experts in internal communications and actively involved in growing and developing our solution. You don't know what you don't know. Despite our growing in-house expertise in the field of best practice internal communications, we endeavor to stay open minded and to listen to our clients, prospects, partners and resellers, because we recognize that you don't know what you don't know. Meet Our DirectorsSimon Waterer. Technical Director. If pushed, Simon will humbly admit he was something of a child genius. Head hunted in to the SnapComms team at the tender age of 18, he continues to surprise us with his innovation and genius coming up with solutions to unsolvable problems. Simon has a level of commitment and enthusiasm that sees him working late into the night if he is in ‘flow’. Considering he is a ‘techie’, people are often pleased to discover that Simon is also a genuine down to earth kiwi bloke who enjoys music, sports and the outdoors. Simon has an honors degree in computer science and accounting.
