Set up multiple administrators - each with their own rights.
Target messages - by group, machine, location or to individuals.
Configure how messages behave - before and after employees read them.
Support for multiple languages - send bilingual or foreign language messages.
Schedule and manage published content - to avoid overloading employees.
Multiple administrators can be set up on the SnapComms platform, each with their own access rights to message content, distribution and targeting. Administrator permission settings include the following options:
Default settings can also be set up by content folder, by tool and by administrator.
SnapComms message targeting options allow administrators to distribute messages to specific individuals or groups.
Administrators can target messages based on:
Active Directory - Set up target groups based on automatically synchronized Active Directory settings
Machine based targeting - Target messages by device type and machine ID
Manual groups - Manually set up targeting groups such as "All Managers", "All New Staff" etc.
Manual upload - Upload additional targeting groups from Excel. For example, export employee groups from an HR system and upload them into SnapComms as messages targeting groups
Case specific- Set up targeting groups on-the-fly (as you are setting up a message to publish)
Message administrators can specify exactly how messages appear on screen via the Advanced tab in the message manager as shown below (default settings based on best practice are applied automatically):
Message snooze option - employees who need to work uninterrupted for short periods of time can be given the option to snooze delivery of messages. Administrators can configure the maximum length and number of times an employee or group can snooze within a period.
For surveys and quizzes - Using the Quiz options tab or Survey options tab, further message customization options are available:
Delivery and expiry date and time - as part of creating any message it is possible to set up target message delivery dates and times and to specify message expiry times (when messages are removed from the employee’s message history).
Message recurrence - unread messages can be set to re-occur until read by the employee.
Message scheduling - set when messages (read and unread) re-occur by specific dates and times. This means that it is possible to reinforce key messages at regular defined time frames.
Multi-language support - The SnapComms platform supports different language fonts. SnapComms messaging templates can also support multiple languages (including the content in the actual messages plus the standard prompts that appear during quizzes, surveys and error messages).
Bilingual support - One of the language options is French AND English (for example bilingual messaging for Canadian organizations).
Content calendar - scheduled content (by administrator or overall) can be shown in calendar format. This option provides a quick snapshot of what's going out and the SnapComms tools being used. Its purpose is to avoid information overload for staff and for administrators to have visibility on all outgoing messages.
Content dashboard - it is possible to view a dashboard of all content that has been published and see how often it has been viewed. This dashboard provides various options to drill down to information by the content folder level.
